About Me

I began my photography journey in 2015 with my father's old camera. Photography is a passion in my family and I am happy to say it is something that I am passionate about too. In 2017 I joined the military and spent my free time photographing my friends and family in Hawaii. I left the military and Hawaii in 2021 and now work in Western Massachusetts. Nowadays, my muse is my wife and we adventure and take photos weekly.

I may never feel ready to make a career in this field. However, with over 100,000 photos taken over the last 7 years, if I am not ready now, I may never be. I'll let you decide. Currently I am shooting on both an ME Super 35mm camera and a Sony a6300.

My Inspiration

There are three photographers that I picture when I imagine artists that inspire me. Yousuf Karsh inspired me to work endlessly to capture the emotion of my subjects. Fan Ho is what I aim for in my composition. Lastly, Ansel Adams constantly reminds me of the intricacies of Black and White Photography. The more I look at their art, the less confidence I have in mine. It is that realization that pushes me to take a better photo every time I raise my camera.

Other Interests

When I am not taking photos of my wife, there are two other main hobbies of mine.

I also work as a Systems Administrator, and love to build servers and program in my free time. My friends know that I always have some way of pulling a computer out no matter where I am.

Working out takes almost as much of my time as work! I have grown a passion for exercising and will spend over 10 hours a week at the gym.
